A Little about Me;

Hi guys!

​​It's me Katrina Chalwe! Welcome to my very first blog site. I'm now officially 44 years old and I'm finally at peace with what God has in store for me. I'm a wife and mother of 3 children ages 26, 19, and 12 years of age. This makes my life really busy.... I'm a firm believer in Christ Jesus and I know that nothing happens "by chance" or mistake. 

This blog is a space to share my journey about my missions and my growth with the Lord. It will also catalog the non-profit I'm praying about starting and my long term transition into mission work. 

I have been a dentist for 18 years. I graduated from Meharry Medical College and did my residency program in Hospital Dentistry at UNC-CH. 

I am also dental director of a community health center in North Carolina. My heart has always been to give to those that are less fortunate. ​

​Update: Currently, we are traveling to the Dominican Republic to still serve the Dominican population. God is truly providing.
